2018

A year for adventures

2017 treated me so well. I spent a month in Ecuador and the Galapagos islands, had the best fun in Greece and made some truly fantastic new best friends, as well as becoming closer than close with my old ones.

Although this year started over a month ago now, today is the day that I felt it kick into action. For the foreseeable future, my life is going to be completely focussed on school. My A-levels are fast approaching and I already feel vastly unprepared for them - so throughout February, I must find a way to knuckle down and get my revision under control while still enjoying my final school days.

However, 2018 is set to bring many new adventures and will (touch wood) be the most exciting year of my life so far. This is the reason for my creating this blog, so that I can keep track of my favourite moments - particularly my travels - and keep hold of my happiest times for many years to come.

I have major plans for the months ahead, so here are the few that I am most looking forward to:

1. Visiting Lanzarote for the first time
2. Going to a Macklemore concert
3. Seeing Hamilton the musical in London
4. My last day of school ever (although I'm also dreading this day)
5. Our girls trip to Amsterdam and Berlin
6. Seeing Ed Sheeran in concert!!
7. School's summer ball
8. Spending 2 weeks in Thailand with my family
9. The start of my gap year
10. Going to Borneo with Camps International

As you can see, I've put a lot of time into adding a little colour to this otherwise miserable February day and I can't wait for my imagination to start materialising! Here's to pure fun and laughter for the rest of this year!
